Traveling the world over in search of fun and frolic, the Pyrates of the Coast will be anchoring at these spots in the coming weeks.

  • Aug. 21 - Cascade Days. It's been a while since we pre-raided before the parade. Look for us entertaining the masses and scaring the kiddies while all the others fight over their assigned spaces in line.

  • Sept. 4-5 - Olympia Harbor Days. The Pyrates band, Knot for Sail will be appearing again at one of our favorite maritime events in the Northwest. More information down the road, but it's almost a certainty we'll be aboard the lovely Patricia Ann again. That a tug, for you landlubbers.

  • Sept. 11 - Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival. We're sailing to our neighbor to the north to enjoy a day of mischief and mayhem at this grand festival. We'll be the good looking piratesrunning the parade before the parade, or scooping up after the horses after the parade, which is crazy early. 10:45 in the morning? I've barely had to tankards of grog by then.

  • Oct. 31 - Edmonds Halloween Trick or Treat. The Pyrateswill be raiding the waterfront community of Edmonds to partake in their annual trick or treat extravaganza. Look for us in the streets around the center of town between 5 and 7 p.m.
  • March 2022- 32nd Annual Spittoon Boat Race Regatta. We'll be sailing over the mountains to ply the wiley waters of the spittoon trough at The Brick Tavern in Roslyn. Who know what ship we'll come up with this year - so close, so close last year. Registration at 10, racing begins at noon.

  • June 2022 - Lard Butt 1K Run - Several of the Pyrates will be participating in this daunting run of 1K to raise money for local charities, including the University Food Bank. Look for the Pirates of the 1Kayribbean somewhere in the middle of the pack, or at the various doughnut stations sprinkled around the Magnuson Park course. Race starts at 9:30.

  • June 2022 - Fall City Days. We finally return to one of our favorite towns for their festival. How can you beat a town with one street (so we don't get lost), a couple of classic bars - the Frontier, the Riverside - and who knows what other mischief? Look for us about 10 on the main street causing trouble.

  • June 2022 - Berry Days, Burlington. The Pyrates of the Coast will be sailing into port in the early morning to pre-rade before the grand parade at 11. Look for us along the street and around the festival grounds. They love us in Burlington!

  • June 25, 2022- Fathoms O'Fun Parade, Port Orchard. If you're looking for us in the parade, you're looking in the wrong place. Look for us instead pre-rading ar ound town earlier in the day and singing for our supper in local establishments while the parade courses its way through town.

  • June 2022 - Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze. The Pyrates are headed back to Rusty Scupper Days in Westport, our first official voyage since the onset of the plague in March 2020. We will be roaming the streets, cavorting, and perhaps, even singing a song or two (shh!).

  • July 2022- Fletcher Bay Winery Pirate Wine Release Party. Join us for an afternoon of piratical music, fun and frolic. Grab your best goin' ashore gear and pirate up - this is a party that is not to be missed. The Pyrates will be there from 2 p.m. on. The party gets into full swing at 3 p.m. The wine alone is worth the trip. Come party like a pirate, at Fletcher Bay Winery.

  • July 23, 2022 - Tour de Terrace- One of our favorite events. We'll be roaming the streets, entertaining the gathered throngs before the parade starts. Why be one of many when you can be the few. Then we're off to the festival grounds to suck up all the booze before those others even start down the road.

  • July 24 - Waterland Festival- A virtual parade? Nonsense. Assuming things are all copcsetic public healthwise, we will be stirring up mischief here and there and getting everyone in the mood to see a virtual parade, whatever that actually is.

  • Aug. 6, 2022 - Drayton Harbor Maritime Festival. After a year on the lam (we admit to nothing), we're heading back to Drayton Harbor to lend our unique brand of roaming entertainment to the festival grounds and if a tall ship is in town, steal away on her. Perhaps we'll even see the George Raft Race finally.
